Cementum is applied below the gum line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both of them are responsible for protecting your teeth.&nbsp;Dentin is a soft and yellowish-colored mineral that contains tubules that connect to your inner nervous system.&nbsp;Dentin can cause irritation and pain by being exposed to the nerve.&nbsp;This can be caused by eating:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hot<\/strong>\u00a0food and beverages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drinks and foods that contain sugar and acidic ingredients<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Tooth Sensitivity Is Born<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Several scenarios can cause tooth sensitivity.\u00a0These are listed in the\u00a0American Dental Association:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Tooth decay (cavities)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fractured Teeth<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wearn fillings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gum disease<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Broken tooth enamel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exposed tooth root<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tooth sensitive<\/strong>\u00a0Can be triggered by the same thing as nerve pain: being exposed to certain foods.\u00a0However, nerve pain may occur if the nerve is exposed further.\u00a0Sensitivity is, however, the result of nerve pain that is deeper into the tooth nerve. It can also be seen on the tooth&#8217;s surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Which foods you should avoid<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It is possible to calm an irritation tooth nerve by avoiding the foods and drinks that can cause it.&nbsp;These are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Hot beverages (coffees or teas).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>According to the&nbsp;<strong><\/strong><strong>University of Nebraska Medical College, cold beverages (soda), can cause sensitivity and erode enamel.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hot food (permit them to cool down)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cold food (no ice cream, or other freezer products)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Get acidic foods like pickles, tomatoes, citrus fruits and beverages<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sweet foods<\/strong>\u00a0Cookies, candy, pastries and beverages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Treat Tooth Nerve pain<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are several things you can do to effectively treat nerve pain.&nbsp;First, visit your dentist.&nbsp;They will perform an oral examination and help you determine the cause and extent of your pain.&nbsp;They will also recommend:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Properly<\/strong>\u00a0Brush your teeth to ensure that you don&#8217;t damage your enamel<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use a soft-bristled, gentle brush<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use toothpaste for sensitive teeth<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Be happy when your favorite foods appear on your plate.&nbsp;You can enjoy food and drinks as well as nourishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nerve pain can be caused by a variety of factors, including poor oral hygiene and frequent visits to the dentist.&nbsp;You have nerves made of steel if you can do this.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tooth pain is something you may have experienced.\u00a0Because when a tooth nerve is exposed, it can result in sensitivity, discomfort and pain for many, but also overwhelming for others.
